Approximately 5-10lbs These mortar and pestles were said to be used during the gold rush to pound small rocks embedded with gold at the assayers offices. Or Possibly used in an Apothecary. Carefully restored to get off rust. Pocked marked inside consistent with use. One of the pestles was broken and then repaired at unknown time.
